After holding this ceremony, Engineer Shekari said: The aim of the Ashurai poetry night is to promote Ashurai culture and depict the Ashura incident with the language and expression of poetry.
He added: Identifying and using the capacity of local and religious poets and guiding the capable poets of the city was another goal of this ceremony.
